Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel hosts the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride Month event in the Pentagon Auditorium at 11:30 a.m. EDT.  Senior Advisor to President Obama, Valerie Jarrett will be the keynote speaker and Acting Secretary of the Air Force Eric Fanning also will deliver remarks.  The event is open press and will be covered live on the Pentagon Channel.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the Pentagon River Parking Pedestrian Bridge only.  Plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call 703-697-5131 for escort to the auditorium. 

Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter has no public or media events on his schedule. 

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Raymond T.
