Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta will give remarks at the Military Child Education Coalition National Training Seminar at 10 a.m. EDT (9 a.m. CDT) at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Conference Center, Grapevine, Texas.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter has no public or media events on his schedule.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey and Mrs. Dempsey participate in Military Child Education Coalition National Training Seminar, Military Family Fireside Chat at 4:30 p.m. EDT (3:30 p.m. CDT) at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Conference Center, Grapevine, Texas.

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert will brief the media regarding the status of the Navy at 12:45 p.m. EDT in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973).  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only.  Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call 703-697-5131 for escort into the building.

Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Installations and Environment Dorothy Robyn will participate in a roundtable at the Association for Demand Response and Smart Grid (ADS) at 9 a.m. EDT at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, D.C.

Surgeon General of the Air Force Lt. Gen. Charles Green delivers remarks at the Honor for All's Visible Honor for Invisible Wounds ceremony as part of the third anniversary of National Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Day at 10 a.m. EDT at the Upper Senate Park, Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.
