Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld is traveling.

Acting Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England hosts an honor cordon to welcome Turkey's Minister of National Defense Vedci Gonul to the Pentagon at 12:45 p.m. EDT. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the Pentagon North Parking Entrance no later than 12:15 p.m. EDT for escort to the cordon.

Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Installations and Environment Philip W. Grone will deliver the keynote address at the annual conference of the National Association of Installation Developers, an association of defense communities,in Denver, Colo. Grone's remarks will be delivered during the general session luncheon at noon in the Exhibit Hall of the Marriott City Center.
