The Deputy Secretary of Defense is in Washington today. There are no public or media events on his schedule.

The regular Department of Defense news briefing will be conducted at 1:30 in the Pentagon briefing Studio, room 2E781. The briefer will be Rear Admiral Craig R. Quigley, deputy assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs.
