10 a.m. Testifies before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on the Chinese Embassy Bombing.

3:45 p.m. The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for African Affairs will conduct a presentation to introduce the newly formed African Center for Security Studies (ACSS). The presentation will take place in the Pentagon Executive Dining Room and is open to the media.

Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will conduct a CLOSED hearing on Information Infrastructure Protection. Witnesses include Lin Wells, Principle Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence.
