Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta presides over the Change of Directorship Ceremony for the Defense Intelligence Agency and attending are Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey and Commander, U.S. Strategic Command Air Force Gen. C. Robert Kehler at 10 a.m. EDT at the Defense Intelligence Agency Headquarters, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter is traveling.

Press Secretary George E. Little will brief the media at 1 p.m. EDT in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973).  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only.  Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call 703-697-5131 for escort into the building.

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton A.
