Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates will host a ceremony on Sept. 11, 2008, to dedicate the Pentagon Memorial to the memory of those killed in the terrorist attack here in 2001.  The ceremony itself is an invitation only / ticketed event. The ceremony begins at 8 a.m EDT and is expected to last for approximately two hours.  See press advisory for details. 

Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England has no public or media events on his schedule.
