Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen travels to Boston this afternoon to speak at an event honoring the Coast Guard and its support to the Department of Defense. See the press advisory for details.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon travels to Canada today to speak to the Canadian Defense Industries Association in Ottawa. See the press advisory for details.

Secretary of the Army Louis Caldera will host an Army Recruiting event at 11:30 a.m. today in Pentagon briefing studio, room 2E781. See the press advisory for details.

A Department of Defense news briefing will be conducted today at 1:30 p.m. in the Pentagon briefing studio, room 2E781. The briefer will be Kenneth H. Bacon, assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs.
