Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta delivers remarks at 8 a.m. EDT at a breakfast for Northern Virginia first responders who were involved in rescue and recovery operations at the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001. The breakfast will be held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Arlington, Va.

Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta delivers remarks at 8 p.m. EDT at a Kennedy Center concert, as part of a Call to Compassion series of events to honor the victims of 9-11 and service members who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan. The event will be held at the Kennedy Center, Washington, D.C.
