Wireless Capability Aids Communication
SUFFOLK, Va., Sept 7, 2006 – U.S. Joint Forces Command's Joint Systems Integration Command has developed a new capability to rapidly establish computer networks when joint warfighters move in to areas where there is no established communications network. Wireless for the Warfighter (W4W) provides an advanced wireless capability to provide faster setup, communication and dissemination of critical data.  Story

F-35 Lightning Finishes Aerodynamic Testing
ARNOLD AIR FORCE BASE, Tenn., Sept. 6, 2006 – Arnold Engineering Development Center officials just completed aerodynamic testing on two variants of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter to support flight testing of the plane later this year. With this latest test, the AEDC staff surpassed 8,000 hours of JSF testing in the center's propulsion wind tunnel facility.  Story
