"The selection of Accenture LLP as DEAMS SI for the U.S. Transportation Command is a key step toward Enterprise Resource Planning efforts supporting the Defense Department's modernization of our business systems," said Frank Weber, director of Electronic Systems Center's Operations Support Systems Wing located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. "This selection will enable the DEAMS initial capability to be implemented at Scott Air Force Base by March 2007 and deployment of full operational capabilities by 2010."
The firm-fixed price task order was awarded through the Defense Department's Enterprise Software Initiative Blanket Purchase Agreement under General Services Administration Schedule.
