| A member of Beachmaster Unit 1 Detachment Western Pacific guides a Landing Craft, Air Cushion onto the beach of Jolo, Philippines, March 3, 2006, to load U.S. servicemembers and equipment assigned to the 31st Marine Service Support Group during Balikatan 2006. Balikitan is conducted annually in the Philippines to exercise joint and combined operations in support of the Mutual Defense Treaty between the United States and the Republic of the Philippines.
