Christopher Mamaux serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense – Global Partnerships in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. Prior to joining the Department, Christopher executed Strategy & Capital for a startup in the defense tech space. The company focuses on autonomous flight in denied or degraded navigational environments, while leveraging cutting edge additive manufacturing techniques for propulsion and guidance.
Christopher served close to a decade in the U.S. military, on both active duty and in national guard reserve component capacities. His overseas service experience in Afghanistan anchors his perception of the Department of Defense’s role in U.S. foreign policy.
While serving in the IC, Christopher supported global U.S. Government efforts in several roles. Upon leaving the IC, Christopher remained connected to the national security space as an external consultant, providing services across several IC and DoD portfolios.
He holds his MBA from MIT Sloan and his Master’s in International Security from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
