Campbell Trophy as the nation's top scholar-athlete in college football, Dec. 6, 2011. Rodriguez, a linebacker, is the son of Army Gen. David M. Rodriguez, commander of U.S. Army Forces Command. He is ranked third in his class of 1,052 cadets at West Point, and has compiled a 4.14 grade-point average as a mechanical engineering major.
