U.S. Navy Diver Petty Officer 2nd Class Brad Fleming (center) is being prepared for his next dive during search and recovery operations at the TWA Flight 800 crash site offshore of Moriches Inlet, Long Island, N.Y., on July 25, 1996. Fleming, a Navy Hull Technician, is being assisted with his dive equipment by Chief Petty Officer Michael Bossler (left) and Petty Officer Dane Doolittle (right). Bossler, a Damage Control Technician and Doolittle, an Aviation Structural Mechanic, are the divers who recovered the aircraft's flight data recorders on July 24, 1996.
