Water Purification Researchers from the Army Engineer Research and Development Center Geospatial Research Laboratory’s Geospatial Sensing and Photonics Lab recently developed four Water Diagnostics Operations Gear, or WaterDOG, systems and two water assessment and purification systems as part of a series of demonstrations for the water treatment and handling team. The Army is assessing WaterDOG use with a field-portable water-treatment system. The WaterDOG provides physical water-quality parameter assessment results more rapidly than the current analog water-quality analysis system.
