Beating Cancer Air Force Staff Sgt. Nicholas Worley, an electrical systems craftsman assigned to the 23rd Civil Engineer Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Ga., is shown at work, May 8, 2017. In January 2012, Worley was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia, an uncommon form of blood cancer that starts in the blood-forming cells of the bone marrow. He’s currently in remission and goes to the cancer center every three months to ensure his treatment is still working. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Janiqua P.
