Flenniken is a boom operator assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Squadron from Travis Air Force Base, California. Three KC-10s from Travis Air Force Base and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, refueled five C-17s carrying more than 300 coalition paratroopers.
