Marines set up elements of a forward operating base during exercise Kamoshika Wrath 18-1 at Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force Maneuver Area, Haramura Higashihiroshima, Japan, Jan. 8, 2018. The Marines are assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 171. Kamoshika Wrath is a biannual, unit-level training exercise that focuses on providing field operation services and establishing a FOB, and assists the Marines as a building block for increasing squadron proficiency in command and control.
