A U.S. Marine fast ropes from a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter to the deck of the USS Peleliu during a training exercise, March 8, 2006. The Marine is assigned to Company C, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), Camp Pendleton, Calif. The unit is on a six-month deployment throughout the western Pacific Ocean and Persian Gulf in support of the global war on terrorism.
