The USS Gladiator, an Avenger-class mine countermeasure ship, arrives in Manama, Bahrain, Jan. 23, 2007. The ship was transported from Ingleside, Texas, aboard Condock V, a heavy lift vessel contracted by Military Sealift Command. Gladiator is one of two new Avenger-class minesweepers.
