ILLEGAL TIMBER U.S. soldiers intercept illegal timber as it is smuggled through Narang Valley in Konar province, Afghanistan, May 19, 2009. Smugglers primarily use donkeys to export the timber without detection over the rough terrain of the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
