U.S. Air Force personnel unload a C-17 and a C-141B at a Jordanian Air Force Base. U.S. Air Force personnel from the 621st Aerial Port Squadron unload a C-17 Globemaster III (left) and a C-141B Starlifter at a Jordanian Air Force Base on April 1, 1996. The aircraft brought personnel, cargo, and support equipment for a U.S. Air Force Air Power Expeditionary Force which will operate out of Jordan. The Expeditionary Force will provide additional land-based air forces to augment regional assets. The deployment will also give the Air Force an opportunity to work and train with coalition partners in the region. The deployment should be completed near the end of June 1996. The 621st is from McGuire Air Force Base, N.J. The C-17 is assigned to the 14th Airlift Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. The Starlifter is from McChord Air Force Base, Wash.
