Tech. Sgt. Donnie J. Edwards builds a water system at a Jordanian Air Base. Tech. Sgt. Donnie J. Edwards, a Utilities Foreman assigned to the 1st Civil Engineering Squadron, attaches a 90 degree Cam Lock to a 20,000 gallon water bladder for a tent city being built by U.S. Air Force civil engineers at a Jordanian Air Base on April 4, 1996. Engineering squadrons are building a small tent city to support a U.S. Air Force Air Power Expeditionary Force which will operate out of Jordan. The Expeditionary Force will provide additional land-based air forces to augment regional assets. The deployment will also give the Air Force an opportunity to work and train with coalition partners in the region. The deployment should be completed near the end of June 1996. The 1st Civil is deployed from Langley Air Force Base, Va., and is constructing the water system. Edwards is a Baxter, W. Va., native.
