Michael Ryan consoles one of the Air Force airman injured in the Khobar Towers explosion as their medical evacuation plane arrives at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, on June 28, 1996, from Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The injured will be transferred to Landstuhl Army Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany, for further treatment. Aircraft from the 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron transported the injured.
