A C-141 Starlifter is visible through the boom operator's window as the aircraft flies connected to a KC-10 Extender for the aerial refueling competition on June 25, 1996, as part of Airlift Rodeo '96. Airlift Rodeo '96 is the United States Transportation Command's tanker/airlift competition which tests the flight and ground skills of aircrews as well as the related skills of combat control, security police, aerial port, aeromedical evacuation, and maintenance team members. Crews from the U.S. and nine other countries are participating in the competition held this year at McChord Air Force Base, Wash.
