Command and support elements for a forward joint task force and other enabling elements are deploying to locations in several West African countries as part of contingency planning for a possible future evacuation from Zaire. The deployment is an enhancement to planning for contingency measures to ensure the security of U.S. citizens in Zaire if an evacuation should become necessary. Mcabee is a personnel specialist with the 352nd Operations Support Squadron and Papineau is a personnel specialist with the 3rd Air Force both of RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom.
