The Cohens visited the camp, located in the Joint Security Area at P'anmunjom, April 10, 1997, as part of their three-day official visit to South Korea. Here, in addition to observing, and being observed by North Korean border guards, they saw the double-row, barbed wire fence separating the two Koreas which runs, uninterrupted, the entire width of the peninsula.
