Bright Star is a joint/combined command post and tactical field exercise in Egypt involving over 50,000 participants from 11 countries. The annual exercise is designed to improve readiness and interoperability between U.S., Egyptian and coalition forces. These personnel, deployed from Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. and Robins Air Force Base, Ga., are responsible for all Harvest Falcon assets, supply, re-supply, and local area purchase needs for Bright Star 99/00.
