Peter Buckley, U.S. Army, for the medical attention she received on Jan. 21, 2000. Members of the 1-63 Armor Battalion Medical Platoon conducted clinic in a school building in the remote mountain village of Nova Brdo providing medical aid to people in the area who are normally out of reach of medical care. Buckley and members of his platoon are deployed to Kosovo as part of KFOR. KFOR is the NATO-led, international military force in Kosovo on the peacekeeping mission known as Operation Joint Guardian.
