The P-47 Thunderbolt Tarheel Hal is followed by two demonstration team F-16 Fighting Falcons as they fly over Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, on March 5, 2000, during the Air Combat Command Heritage Flight Conference. The conference gives the demonstration team pilots an opportunity to discuss operations and conduct flight training with the vintage aircraft pilots who will fly with them as a team during the upcoming air show season. The upper Fighting Falcon is from the 20th Fighter Wing, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. The lower F-16 is from the 388th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
