Kennedy (CV 67) during a vertical replenishment in the Persian Gulf on July 23, 2004. The Kennedy is participating in Summer Pulse 2004, a U.S. Navy exercise where seven aircraft carrier strike groups will learn new ways of operating, training, manning and maintaining their fleet. The Knighthawk is from the Dragon Whales of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 8 deployed onboard the fast combat support ship USS Seattle (AOE 3).
