The Kennedy is underway in the Persian Gulf conducting missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Units in the Kennedy Carrier Strike Group are working closely with Multi-National Corps-Iraq and Iraqi forces to bring stability to the sovereign government of Iraq.
