A U.S. Navy Landing Craft Air Cushion, more commonly called an LCAC, blows up sand as it lands on the beach at Meulaboh, Indonesia, on Jan. 13, 2005. The LCAC, which is deployed onboard the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), is transporting humanitarian relief supplies from the ship to Meulaboh. The Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group is currently operating in the Indian Ocean off the coasts of Indonesia and Thailand, in support of Operation Unified Assistance.
