Rumsfeld hosted an armed forces full honor review at the Pentagon for six presidents of Central American and Caribbean nations. Following the ceremony the Pentagon Renovation workers had a chance to meet their president. Visible in the photo, to the right of Rumsfeld, are President Leonel Fernandez of the Dominican Republic, President Antonio Saca of El Salvador, President Abel Pacheco of Costa Rica and President Ricardo Maduro of Honduras. Also visiting are President Oscar Berger of Guatemala and President Enrique Bolanos of Nicaragua. The Central American and Caribbean leaders are at the Pentagon to for security discussions. The full honor review featured a 21-gun salute followed by a pass-in-review of the honor guard platoons of each of the five U.S. armed services.
