The Seahawk is operating from the deck of the Ticonderoga class guided missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) and both are participating in Exercise Nautical Union, a joint exercise in conducting Maritime Security Operations, air defense, anti- submarine warfare, surface warfare, mine counter measures, electronic warfare, replenishment at sea, and command and control. Alston is a Navy Aviation Warfare Systems Operator attached to Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron (Light) 60 deployed from Naval Station Mayport, Fla.
