Secretary Rumsfeld awards a Bronze Star to Army Spc. Lucas Crowe. Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld awards a Bronze Star to Army Spc. Lucas Crowe at Forward Operating Base Courage in Mosul, Iraq, on Dec. 24, 2005. Crowe took action that saved a two-year old Iraqi boy's life after he was found in his family's flooded basement in Mosul on Election Day, Dec. 15, 2005. Crowe performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the boy and comforted him until be could receive proper medical attention. Rumsfeld has been visiting in the troops in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan and Iraq thanking them for their service and wishing them a happy holiday season.
