A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon heads out to the combat ranges of Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., for airpower training exercise Red Flag 06-1, on Jan. 30, 2006. Conducted by the 414th Combat Training Squadron, Red Flag exercises test aircrews' war-fighting skills in realistic combat situations and involve units of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, as well as units of the United Kingdom and Australia.
