The crew of a U.S. Marine Corps assault amphibious vehicle stands by as other vehicles return to Onslow Beach, N.C., on Feb. 23, 2006, from the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). The crews and their vehicles are assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Assault Amphibious Battalion and are participating in a beach invasion exercise as part of the Bataan's well deck certification.
