U.S. Marines and sailors provide security after dismounting from CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters at Cesar Basa Air Base in Pampanga, Philippines, on Oct. 15, 2006. The Marines and sailors are conducting a long-range helicopter-borne raid with assistance from members of the Philippine air force as part of bilateral training exercises Talon Vision and Amphibious Landing Exercise FY '07. Members of Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting the exercises which are designed to enhance interoperability and professional relations between the U.S. and Philippine armed forces.
