U.S. Navy sailors of a boarding team assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Carr (FFG 52) prepare to offer assistance to a United Arab Emirates-flagged fishing dhow in the central Arabian Gulf on Sept. 26, 2007. The sailors provided fresh water, food, a medical kit and engineering assistance to the vessel that was having engine trouble. The Carr is conducting interaction patrols that help generate support and awareness among commercial vessels to ensure a safe and secure maritime environment.
