Charles Jones from Headquarters Support Company, Southern European Task Force explains scaling and labeling procedures to soldiers from the Rwanda Defense Forces in Kigali, Rwanda, on Jan. 13, 2009, prior to their deployment to Sudan in support of an African Union/United Nations peacekeeping mission. Jones is in Rwanda to conduct pre-deployment training as part of the Africa Deployment Assistance Phased Training program, which is designed to help African militaries deploy and support forces participating in African Union/United Nations peacekeeping operations.
