Delta Company, 2nd Amphibious Assault Battalion and civil affairs group Marines, deployed with the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, are talking with the local populace in order to understand their conditions and concerns and identify possible reconstruction and development projects. Delta Company Marines are deployed with Regimental Combat Team 3 to conduct counterinsurgency operations in partnership with the Afghan national security forces in southern Afghanistan.
