U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Justin Lamb, a hospital corpsman assigned to the medical department aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), evaluates an Iranian mariner aboard the ship while underway in the Arabian Sea on Aug. 18, 2010. The man is one of eight stranded Iranian mariners who were rescued by the ship’s crew after their vessel was engulfed in flames. Two SH-60 Seahawk helicopters assigned to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 7 transported the mariners to the ship where they were evaluated by medical staff and provided with clothes and food.
