Air Force airmen lay sandbags to protect against possible flooding from the Missouri River outside Rosecrans Memorial Airport, St. Joseph, Mo., on June 10, 2011. The airmen are assigned to the 139th Airlift Wing, Missouri Air National Guard. Combined with the help of volunteers from local communities, the airmen helped lay 24,000 sandbags.
