Selva's Welcome

Air Force Gen. Paul J. Selva, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, welcomes former Army Pvt. Robert Levine, a D-Day veteran and former prisoner of war, during an event in the Pentagon, June 6, 2019. Levine, a Jewish American, was seriously wounded a month after landing on Utah Beach in Normandy, France, and was subsequently captured by German forces and saved by a German doctor.
