Repatriation Ceremony

Marines with Marine Forces Pacific participate in a repatriation ceremony in Betio, Tarawa Atoll, Kiribati, Nov. 20, 2018. The ceremony was held to memorialize all who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Battle of Tarawa in 1943 and to transfer several remains and artifacts back to the United States.
