Funeral Honors

Soldiers assigned to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, known as “The Old Guard,” conduct a military funeral escort for Army Air Force 1st Lt. Seymour Drovis, a veteran of World War II, at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., Oct. 16, 2019. Drovis went missing in July, 1944, but his remains were recovered in 2013 and positively identified in 2018.
