Exercise Trident

Members assigned to Naval Special Warfare Group 2, part of U.S. Special Operations Command, conduct military operations during Exercise Trident 20-2, Jan. 23, 2020. As part of its reform efforts, the Defense Department asked combatant commands to conduct “clean-sheet reviews” to consolidate and reduce legacy missions, tasks and posture to optimize their operational footprint.
