WASP Visit Betty Dybbro, a Women Airforce Service Pilot, or WASP, visits Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Oct. 21, 2020. The WASPs were federal civil service pilots who tested and ferried aircraft and trained other pilots during World War II to help offset the lack of male pilots on the home front.
